My family have lived here since 1959, but we are only the fourth owners in over 700 years. From 1260 to 1944 the house was owned by the Fanshawe family. John and I have had a lifetime of pleasure in restoring this house and bringing up our children here, and now in our retirement we are enjoying the development of the gardens. Our open days are the highlights of our gardening year.
