In the summer of 2005 Fanshawe Gate Hall opened the 'garden gate' for the 10th consecutive year. Since the first visitors arrived in 1995, garden lovers have helped raise over £80,000 benefiting the National Garden Scheme's charities as well as many local Derbyshire good causes. This year the garden continues to flourish and the combination of traditional cottage garden planting, impressive topiary and water features makes Fanshawe Gate one of Derbyshires most visited private gardens.
